Oppo has officially announced the launch of its F29 5G series in India, scheduled for March 20, 2025, at 12 PM IST. The lineup will feature two models: Oppo F29 5G and Oppo F29 Pro 5G. Both variants focus on durability and performance and will be available for purchase via Amazon, Flipkart, and Oppo India's official e-store.
Oppo F29 5G will debut in Glacier Blue and Solid Purple, while the higher-end Oppo F29 Pro 5G will be offered in Granite Black and Marble White. The brand aims to cater to a wide range of users with these colour options.
The Oppo F29 5G series features a 360-degree Armour Body and carries MIL-STD-810H certification, ensuring protection against extreme conditions. Both models come with IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, supporting underwater photography. Additional durability-focused features include Sponge Bionic Cushioning, a Raised Corner Design Cover, a Lens Protection Ring, and an aerospace-grade aluminium alloy internal frame.
The Oppo F29 Pro 5G is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset. It will be available in 8GB RAM + 128GB and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variants. A 6,000mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC fast charging ensures extended usage and rapid recharging capabilities.
While official pricing remains unconfirmed, industry sources suggest that the Oppo F29 Pro 5G may be priced under Rs 25,000 in India. The device is expected to provide premium features in the budget-midrange category. The Oppo F29 5G series will be available across leading online retail platforms and Oppo’s e-store post-launch.
